Book Review | Next Up: 8 Shifts Great Young Leaders Make by Jonathan Pearson

Next Up-8 Shifts Great Young Leaders Make by Jonathan Pearson is a personal account of one man’s journey and how “God-given gifts… attitude and mind shifts will be the things that propel” people to become innovators and entrepreneurs of their generation. Pearson highlights several key attributes to an individual becoming a strong leader, like consistency, cooperation, and integrity. I would go into more detail about the text, but I had a very difficult time parsing through how it was about cultivating young adults into great leaders. The book is a pretty generic guide about how the Bible celebrates inherently good people who share their views with others. I didn’t think there was anything particularly intriguing or innovative, but it was a quick read with some good beginning points to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

tldr; Basic tips on how to be a leader based on Christian teachings.
